What is OPEN DOOR Kids?
Looking for a place where your kids (babies through 6th grade) can experience the Bible in a way that’s fun, creative, and meaningful?
Open Door Kids is the perfect place to start. Every Sunday, your children are invited to engage with God’s Word through interactive lessons, worship, and activities designed just for them — all in a safe, welcoming environment.
While you attend the main worship service, your kids will be growing in their faith and discovering life change through Jesus in a way that speaks to their age and stage.

First time here? We’d love to meet you! Head to the Kids Check-In area in our lobby when you arrive. Our team will welcome your family, walk you through a quick first-time check-in form, and help get your child safely settled into their age-appropriate classroom.

First Time Visit?
Come to the Kids check in areas of our lobby. We will meet your family, and show you how to fill out our first time form to check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. You can also fill this form out in advance at the button below.
We will ask for the following personal information:
- Family members’ names
- Children’s names and birthdates
- Address & phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child

What will my child learn?
Our mission is to help kids discover life change through Jesus. We want every child to grow in their relationship with God and understand the value of applying biblical truths to their lives. They’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, songs, small groups, and teaching.
Will my child make friends?
Yes! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group.
Additionally, we strive to help first time kids feel comfortable by pairing them up with a child of the same age as they enter our spaces.
How do I check my child in?
on your first visit look for someone wearing a new here badge to help you check your family in, and show you where your child will be for the morning. you can precheck your family in through this family registration link: https://codyork.churchcenter.com/people/forms/446197)
How does COD ensure my child is safe and secure?
Safety is one of our highest priorities and each Open Door Kids environment is created in a way that keeps your kids physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe.
We have a secure check-in process at every location. Every adult that serves with kids is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff.
All of our campuses are equipped with detailed emergency plans so that we can care best for kids in any situation.
I have a child with special needs. Is there anything I should know before we come to COD?
If you have a child with special needs who may need a little extra support to participate in Open Door Kids, we’d love to partner with you to make their experience amazing. Please feel free to contact the campus you will be visiting directly to talk with our kids staff about how we can best support you and answer any questions you may have before your first visit!
