We encourage everyone to build intentional relationships with others in the body to provide care, accountability, and encouragement. We offer various ministries to accomplish this goal.
We seek to worship together in a way that is grounded in spirit and truth, culturally relevant and appropriate. We encourage freedom, sincerity of expression and active participation in our services. You will find us enthusiastic to worship the Lord.
Our commitment is to help people grow from where they are to where God wants them to be. This happens in a variety of ways, including Biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and mutual accountability.
We teach and seek to model a biblical understanding of our responsibility to not-yet believers in our community and around the world. We partner with many local ministries and international workers to get the message of the Gospel to all people.
We will preach it, teach it and live it to the best of our ability.
We will be passionate about seeking God's presence as a major part of our strategy in accomplishing God's work, expressing dependence upon God's mighty power in our lives and ministry.
We will be committed to the uncommitted, passionately reaching out with the love and Gospel of God to our city and the world. We will also pursue love in our interactions with each other.
We will be flexible and open to changing our methodology, and will pursue optimum quality, in order to apply God's truth to the contemporary problems people face.
We will provide specific opportunities to strengthen marriages, homes and individuals.
We will challenge every believer to grow and change into conformity to Jesus.
We will teach generous, cheerful giving and practice wise management of our resources and facilities.
We will help people understand their spiritual gifts and find their place on God's team of service.
There is only one true Father-God, infinite in power, wisdom, justice, righteousness, truth, grace and love. He is bigger than anything or anyone that could come against us! Genesis1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 40:20-31; John 1:1-14; Romans 8
Jesus was the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is God in the flesh. He lived a sinless life and died to pay the penalty for our sins. He is our Savior, Justifier, Redeemer, Friend, and Resurrected Lord. Jesus is God showing Himself to us. Matthew 28:1-10; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-3; Romans 3:21-31; Philippians 2:1-11
God the Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal Jesus, to convict us of our sin and our need of a Savior, and to give eternal life to those who put their faith in Christ. He is God living in us, empowering, controlling and filling us to serve Him. John 14:16-17, 26, 16:5-11; Romans 8:14-16, 26-27; Ephesians 5:18
That the Bible, containing the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s inerrant, inspired, sufficient guidebook for life. II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21
God created the world, the earth, plants, animals and humankind. Nothing “just happened”. Genesis 1-3; Col. 1:15-17; Job 12:7-12
Humanity is sinful, inheriting a sinful nature from birth. Men and women are freed from the penalty of their sins not by works or religion, but only through the grace of God through faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Grace is the only way to have a relationship with God. Acts 16:31; Romans 3:24-26; 5:1-12; Ephesians 2: 1-10
Christianity is not a religion of fear. People truly born into the family of God are forever kept by God’s power. John 1:12-13; 6:29; 10:27-29; Romans 8:28-39; I Peter 1:5
God’s will is for us to grow in grace, as humble servants who pursue personal holiness, prayer, worship, fellowship, evangelism, the Scriptures, and service. We believe God has given the Church as a place to pursue these things. It is the only true world “super power”. I Corinthians 5:9-13, 6:18-20; Romans 12:1-2; I Peter 1:13-16
Death is not the end but the beginning. The Scriptures teach that heaven and hell are real places and that Satan is a real person. Those who receive Christ will spend eternity in God’s presence, and those who refuse God’s offer of mercy and grace will spend eternity in Hell with Satan and his angels. John 5: 24-28; Revelation 20:11 – 21:4; I Peter 5:8-9
Jesus is returning before the Millennium to gather His children and judge the World. I Corinthians 15:42-54, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:1-6
