AVAILABLE POSITIONS

EYC Campus Pastor (EAST YORK, FT)

The role of the Campus Pastor is to oversee the life and direction of the campus under the direction and leadership of the Central Leadership Team.  This will require a firm grasp of the beliefs, values and strategy of Church of the Open Door and the ability to align staff and key leadership teams with its mission, vision and values.  The Campus Pastor will offer pastoral leadership to the campus.  He will also ensure that the systems, practices and policies of the church responsibly and effectively support its ministry activities.

EYC Administrative Assistant (EYC, PT)

To assist the Campus Pastor and campus staff in carrying out the mission of the church by providing administrative support, managing the campus-specific database, assisting with church publications/events, greeting visitors, answering telephones, and additional responsibilities as required.

EYC CHILDREN'S Nursery COORDINATOR (EAST YORK, PT)

The Nursery Coordinator is responsible for nursery and early childhood programming, resources, and supplies. This person will care for newborns, infants, and toddlers; recruit, train, and manage volunteers; and act as a liaison for the Campus Pastor and Children’s Ministry Director with the families who engage in nursery programming. This role must support other children’s ministry staff in the fulfillment of the overall vision of Children’s Ministry at COD.

Dallastown worship director (Dallastown)

The role of the Campus Worship Director is to provide direction to the worship activities of the assigned campus. In cooperation with other worship staff, this position implements the worship goals and standards established by the pastoral staff. This position will recruit, train, and develop musicians at the campus level and provide leadership and discipleship for worship teams and activities. The Worship Director will be a resource to all campus ministries in regard to music and worship in order to maintain excellence and help people discover life change through Jesus. This position maintains the campus worship budget and oversees the scheduling and equipping of campus worship teams.  The Campus Worship Director will work with the Campus Pastor to influence campus worship towards excellence and engagement. This position will collaborate with the other worship staff to create a unified experience at COD. 

Dallastown Youth director (Dallastown)

The Youth Ministry Director will seek to lead youth to discover life change through Jesus. This person will care for, shepherd, and disciple junior high and high school students (grades 7-12), parents, and adult leaders who serve with the Youth Ministry. They will provide oversight to other youth ministry staff at their campus, and work in conjunction with them and youth ministry staff on other campuses to design a program that honors Christ and serves students and their families well. This position also needs to communicate well with the Children’s Ministry staff for the assigned campus in order to best serve families together. 

Dallastown CHILDREN'S Ministry COORDINATOR (Dallastown, PT)

The Children’s Coordinator will ensure that all programming for children ages 3 through 6th grade at the assigned campus is fully staffed and supplied with all necessary curricula and resources. This person will be responsible for maintaining an environment for children where they can encounter God, experience community, and be led to engage the world in an age appropriate manner. The Coordinator will act as the liaison for the Campus Pastor and Children’s Ministry Director with the families who engage in early education children’s programming. This role must support other children’s ministry staff in the fulfillment of the overall vision of Children’s Ministry at COD.
