Bob Riedy

Senior Pastor

Robert Riedy has been at COD for 18 years. Bob attended Kutztown University and graduated from Lancaster Bible College. He then went on to Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago where he graduated in 1995. Bob and his wife, Karen, have been married for 43 years. They have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren who are the apple of their eyes. Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, walking, hiking, biking, reading, and doing fun DIY projects around their condo.

Brett Ayers

West York Campus Pastor

Brett Ayers is the West York Campus Pastor. He and his wife Jenny have been married and in ministry for over 26 years. They have four children and have been at COD for 16 years. He is a graduate of Washington Bible College (BA) and Capital Bible Seminary (MA). He loves being outdoors, building things and a good cup of coffee.

Don Heindel

East York Campus Pastor

Don Heindel came to COD in 1999 after serving in two other churches as Youth and Assistant Pastor. He originally came to serve as the Worship and Christian Education Pastor. Recently, he transitioned to serve the East York Campus as the Campus Pastor. He has been married to his wife, Donna, for 34 years. They enjoy traveling and eating at good restaurants together. In his free time, he loves to play golf and enjoys hanging out with people.

Executive Pastor

Pastor Jeremy and his family have been at COD since 2013. He began in children’s ministry, but as the church grew moved into the Executive Pastor role in 2022. Pastor Jeremy and his wife, Jen, are enjoying watching their children, Christopher and Leah, grow and mature in the Lord as they make their own way into high school, college, and beyond. A lifelong learner, Pastor Jeremy loves to read, play his trumpet, and coaching softball in the summertime.

Breanna Gruver

West York Guest Services Coordinator

Breanna Gruver and her family have been attending COD since 2009. In addition to her role at COD, she also works full-time as an invasive cardiovascular specialist and is the director of a local college cardiovascular program. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Justin, and two daughters, Ella and Claire.

Darrick Martin joined COD as the West York Campus Youth Director in December of 2022. He graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2016 and has been working in Youth ministry ever since. Darrick is married to Grace, and they have a baby girl named Audrey. He enjoys playing instruments, video games, reading fiction, sports, board games, and hunting.

Director of Creative Arts

David Greer and his family have been at COD since the middle of 2020. Prior to his time as the Director of Creative Arts, David spent six years as a Worship Pastor in Kansas City, where his love for the Kansas City Chiefs was born! You will most often find David spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their five kids in and around the York area.

Dianne Fox

West York Facilities Scheduler

Dianne Fox and her family have been attending COD for the past 25 years. Although Dianne has filled several roles during her 17 years on staff, she is currently the facilities coordinator, which includes scheduling and the daily needs of the building. When not at church, she enjoys reading, playing games, and spending as much time as possible at the beach.

Drew Locker has been serving with COD since April 2023. He started leading worship for his youth group in 2005 and then moved into various other worship and church leadership roles since 2010. Originally from New Hampshire, Drew and his wife, Liz, were married in 2013 and now have two amazing and energetic kiddos. When not playing music or spending time with his family, he loves photography, being outdoors, and fixing cars.

Josh Grossman is our East York Campus Youth Director and has been on staff for about three years. Over about a decade in ministry, Josh has spent time in children’s, missions, worship, youth, and other associated ministries. Josh has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Ministry and is currently in the process of getting his master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling. He has three beautiful daughters: Kaylee, Emma, and Ava. He is an avid fan of Manchester United FC and the Philadelphia Eagles! Go BIRDS!

Karen Knaub

West York Administrative Assistant

Karen Knaub was hired in April 2023 as the Administrative Assistant for Pastor Brett and the WYC. She is the mother of three children and grandmother of two. She attended York College of PA, pursuing a degree in accounting, and took online classes with Liberty University. She is in love with God and adores her human and furry family. She also enjoys hiking and all sports.

Kathy Zirkle

Administrative Assistant

Kathy Zirkle and her husband have been at COD for 39 years. She has been the office administrator for 18 years working with the many staff members. Kathy and her husband, Troy, have four adult children and three grandchildren. Kathy’s hobbies are biking, puzzles, sewing, gardening, and so many more.

Katie Dower has been here at COD for 7 years. She and her husband, Drew, have been married for 5 years and have 2 kids. She graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Special Education and has used that here at COD to serve our kids and families. It is rare to see Katie without a coffee mug in hand, usually a Carmel latte from Belmont Bean!

East York Administrative Assistant

Kristin Gillis and her family started attending COD ten years ago and have been part of the East York Campus since it opened in 2017. She is a former Health teacher and is loving her new role balancing her health/wellness business, women's ministry, and administrative responsibilities at the EYC. In her spare time, you will find her spending time outdoors and being active with her husband, teenage twins and dogs!

Kristin Sweitzer, her husband, Michael, and their four kids started attending COD eight years ago. Along with serving as the interim Children's Director, Kristin works as a staff writer. During her downtime, Kristin can generally be found at a baseball field, reading her never-ending pile of books, or spending time with her family.

Laura Katz and her family have attended COD since 2015. A graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible, she serves as the Director of Women’s Spiritual Formation. Passionate about learning God’s Word, she loves pouring into the lives of women through Bible study and mentoring. Her favorite pastimes are hiking with her hubby, Dan, and hanging out with the family.

She received her master’s degree in Special Education from Shippensburg University and taught in the Dover Area School District. Sheri and her husband, Don, have two adult daughters and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include walking her dog, reading, and playing with her grandchildren.
